Óscares 2022: os vencedores

Ao contrário de todas as expectativas, CODA foi o grande vencedor da noite de Óscares.

Antes da noite de 27 de março, todas as previsões apontavam para o mesmo: The Power of The Dog seria o grande vencedor dos prémios da Academia, com nomeações em categorias como Melhor Ator, Melhor Atriz Secundária e, claro, Melhor Filme. De todos os indicados para o maior prémio da noite, CODA talvez fosse um dos que menos se esperava ouvir da boca de Liza Minnelli. O drama, que venceu Melhor Filme, saiu vitorioso ainda na categoria de Melhor Ator Secundário, com Troy Kotsur, e Melhor Argumento Adaptado. Apesar do inesperado, The Power of The Dog valeu a Jane Campion o Óscar de Melhor Realizador. O que não fugiu muito dos palpites foi Dune, que venceu em inúmeras categorias, como Melhor Fotografia, Melhor Edição de Som e Melhor Efeitos Visuais.

Depois do momento alto da cerimónia, Will Smith voltou a subir ao palco, mas desta vez para receber a estatueta de Melhor Ator, graças à sua performance em King Richard. Já o prémio de Melhor Atriz foi para Jessica Chastain, que encantou a passadeira vermelha momentos antes de ser galardoada. Ariana DeBose fez história ao ser a primeira mulher latina queer a vencer na categoria de Melhor Atriz Secundária. Não podemos deixar de falar em Billie Eilish e Finneas, que levaram para casa a estatueta de Melhor Canção Original, com o tema de 007, No Time To Die.
