“One fine day we'll see”, is what is sung in one of Madame Butterfly's most famous arias. In this opera by Giacomo Puccini, which places an American naval officer and a young geisha at the center of a tragic love story, it is the music that tells the story, it is the voice that moves the heart, it is the intensity of the feeling in the melody that incites tears, sensations, empathy. The soundtrack may not be heard on paper, but theater will certainly be present in this make-up that uses Puccini's chords as a motto to create a drama that is inspired by the opera premiered in 1904, but placing it in the 21st century.
