Is there any fragrance capable of describing such strong sensations as mystery, power, or innocence? Vista Alegre dreamed and three remarkable essences were born.

Innovating and, at the same time, paying tribute to Portugal's History seems like a difficult task, but that is precisely what Vista Alegre has been doing since 1824, year after year, in an outstanding way. The launch of the Home Cosmetics collection is the most recent example of that. Based on the values of excellence and know-how that characterize the long history of the national brand, this new segment combines elements of home decoration with the refinement of high perfumery, seeking an enhanced experience of personal space. The candles, soaps, and home sprays that make up the Home Cosmetics range give personality to the place where some of the most important moments of our lives are spent. As impactful objects, they appeal to the olfactory and visual senses of those who seek a sign of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In order for each person can find the scent that best complements their space, the Home Cosmetics collection is divided into three fragrances inspired by sensations that inhabit the core of the human being: innocence, power, and mystery. 

Innocence is the reflection of porcelain purity. Its fruity notes of fig sap are complemented by the elegance of a bouquet of jasmine petals and white iris, finding its balance in sandalwood. It is the ideal scent to accompany moments of silence and meditation, bringing serenity to the heart of the home. Those looking for a more cheerful and energetic fragrance will find their perfect match in Pouvoir. The warm colors painted on the porcelain of this set intensify the celebration of the most unforgettable events, when emotions are expressed without fear or shame. Its scent is synonymous with power, were it not for the name that gives it life. Notes of cognac oil are combined with oak extract, cork and amber, accented by the uniqueness of spices and vetiver roots. Ancient fermentation techniques inspired the birth of this range, recalling illustrious objects such as Vista Alegre's crystal decanters. There is also the possibility of finding a heavenly refuge in the aromas provided by the Mystère collection. Aiming to revive memories spent by the sea, when the sea breeze floats around us, this fragrance is composed of iconic essences such as rose petals, lily of the valley and jasmine. The bluish tones of its porcelains mirror the point on the horizon where sky and water become one.

The three essences of the Home Cosmetics collection were created in partnership with Stéphanie Bakouche, a renowned French perfumer who has collaborated with renowned brands of high perfumery around the world. Bakouche's training goes back to the Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire, and today she is a professor at the École Supérieure du Parfum, in Paris. Despite being a new segment of Vista Alegre, Home Cosmetics has already received a lot of praise from critics, and was awarded the Silver prize in the Muse Design Awards.
