And Lierac knows it. Since its beginning, and with even more vigour since 2007, when the Premium range arrived in Portuguese pharmacies and gave them a new mission: to design highly effective skincare products that convey the glamor inherent in beauty. More than a decade and a half later, Premium returns with a new image and improved formulas, translating the evolution of science into a skincare masterpiece.

Paris, June 14th. Temperatures are high, tourists are fleeing the streets for the cool, albeit limited, shadows of Paris. In the news we hear about (yet another) heatwave, but that's not the reason for the fervor at 10 Rue de Turenne. It is in this address, a picturesque art gallery, that Lierac is preparing to present a novelty that has been simmering for more than ten years in its scientific laboratories. A novelty, it must be said, reinvented. Anyone who is a self-confessed skincare aficionado will have come across the Premium range and the luxurious chapter it introduced to Portuguese pharmacies when it was launched in 2007. By positioning itself at the forefront of anti-ageing skincare, Premium has become a Lierac icon, to the point where, by 2022, one product from the range was sold every minute worldwide. And now that it is completing 16 years of history, it is opening a new chapter: once again, by packaging a decade of innovative scientific research in an elegant and sophisticated image.

At the heart of the renewed Premium range is the premise that has guided Lierac Laboratories since its beginnings: the answer to anti-ageing lies in the skin. Take stem cells, for example. Responsible for the continuous regeneration of the epidermis, their effectiveness naturally diminishes over time. Added to this is the action of external aggressors, such as stress, which damage the cells and accelerate skin ageing. What if it were possible to protect stem cells and combat damaged ones by stimulating active cells in all layers of the skin? More than anti-ageing, this would be reverse aging technology, such as that used in the formulas of Lierac's new Premium range. They call it [F.G.N.], referring to the three active components used. The first, FOXO, is a protein with regenerative properties that over time weakens, leaving the skin drier, duller, and uncomfortable. With the introduction of white sandalwood extract, of natural origin, Lierac is able to reproduce the cell regeneration processed by FOXO, prolonging the youthfulness of the skin. In turn, the GDF-11 protein is responsible for recovering damaged cells and is essential for reverse aging. As we age, its expression decreases. However, with the presence of baobab RNA, also of natural origin, this protein's capabilities are reactivated, resulting in an increase in collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin. Completing the wonder trio is NRF-2, which regulates cell function and performs numerous significant functions, such as protecting the skin from stress. Like other proteins, its presence decreases with age, and it is the natural extract of sempervivum, incorporated into Premium formulas, that reactivates its role.

From this innovative technology, four products have been designed, with at least 95% ingredients of natural origin, distinguished by their velvety texture and the signature fragrance of the Premium range, which returns to offer a multi-sensory experience. The absolute serum stands out, with 7300 oil microspheres, which break up during application, providing a feeling of comfort complemented by the freshness of water. In addition to the [F.G.N.] technology, the serum in Lierac's Premium range contains papain - an enzyme extracted from papaya - which evens out the skin texture, and niacinamide to fight blemishes. It can be used on any skin type. The eye cream combines the action of [F.G.N.] technology and niacinamide with gentian, a plant harvested in France that is particularly effective in filling the eye contour. Fragrance-free, this product has pearlescent particles that illuminate the face immediately after application. The Premium range wouldn't be complete without two refillable face creams. Those who define their skin as normal or combination will benefit from the care of the silky cream, thanks to the matt and smooth finish achieved by combining [F.G.N.] technology with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. The voluptuous Premium cream corrects all the signs of ageing on dry skin and moisturizes deeply, as shea butter has been added to its formula. It's not just the revolutionary know-how that makes the new Premium range a skincare masterpiece. Its refined silhouettes, painted in the darkest shade of the color palette, bring glamour back to the heart of the pharmacy, visually transporting us to the Parisian art gallery where it was first presented to the world. At 10 Rue de Turenne, we rediscover that skincare is an art - and Lierac knows it.
