The Fame Issue
For Marilyn Monroe, they were a woman's best friend. Shirley Bassey sang that diamonds are forever. And even the Beatles introduced us to Lucy who, although she spoke of diamonds figuratively, shared a heavenly sky with them.
The relationship between jewels and Hollywood stars goes far beyond the sparkle they emit. It's a mutual attraction that both solidifies the fame of a celebrity and the value of a precious stone. Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Lauren Bacall, Ava Gardner and Audrey Hepburn all knew this. Years later, we turned to diamonds to recreate their birth charts.
