That is the question behind pleasure. Is there a greater indulgence than not wearing masks or not having to dress up as a constraint character for even an evening? Is there a greater reward than having fun without personality filters?
That is the question behind pleasure. Is there a greater indulgence than not wearing masks or not having to dress up as a constraint character for even an evening? Is there a greater reward than having fun without personality filters? We assume that hedonism is an almost unattainable concept in a world governed by speed and appearances, believing that it is a utopia to be able to fully enjoy its essence, but it exists. When you leave the house for a night spent with your closest friends, in the conversations where you don't measure words, in the laughs that have no volume control and, even, the next morning, in the camaraderie of someone who is empathetic with a hangover of happiness or, simply, in the company of those who understand that hedonism is a night out washed down with cocktails as much as staying in with a good book and a coffee, leaving aside all disguises. Metaphorically - literally, as far as wardrobe is concerned -, wear whatever role you want. The more indulgent the better. Photography by Elliot James Kennedy. Styling by Caitlin Moriarty.
