You’re too old for this. You’re too old for that. No one even knows what they’re saying anymore. We’re always the right age for everything, even for not knowing who we are. That comes with time but, above all, in its own time. We change as years go by, because we discover ourselves gradually, in a slow and ravishing way, with more or less hurt, with more or less happiness. That is why we have a love-hate relationship with the passing of time: we know that we’re approaching the end of existence, but we have never lived in such a secure and stable way as we do now.
