The deep blue is not that blue, or that deep. It’s not that unscathed or transparent.

In its bottom, there is rubbish; in its watery tissue, there are micro-particles of plastic; in its surface, there are nets and waste floating around as a symptom of a pollution disease, way more serious than what we’re led to believe – but that is within our power to eradicate. In this deep blue that is the ocean, the sea, but that isn’t that deep or that blue, it’s up to the human being to scatter the depths of his conscience and take action so that the deep blue can remain a synonym for ocean. This is, an ocean even bluer – and therefore, deeper. Creative direction and styling by Pedro Moura. Photography by Ricardo Abrahão.
