Little by little we embrace the arrival of our beloved Spring. That time when flowers and plants bloom. That time when we bloom, as we leave our Winter cocoons. When Spring comes, Beauty blossoms.

Little by little we embrace the arrival of our beloved Spring. That time when flowers and plants bloom. That time when we bloom, as we leave our Winter cocoons. When Spring comes, Beauty blossoms.

Translucent

Shine. That was what everyone was talking about regarding the Spring/Summer fashion shows, with Fendi and Schiaparelli leading the trend. In Dior’s Haute-Couture collection, the eyes, and mainly the waterline, were highlighted, being illuminated through white eyeliner. But this mood doesn’t stop there: if it’s time to shine, let everything glow, from the eyelids to the lips and the cheeks.

Backs to the 2000s

The future wants to go back to the 2000s and make-up can prove it. The formula is pretty simple, and it was seen on Versace and Blumarine’s shows: glossy contoured lips, really heightened pink blush and an eyeshadow look as frosty as the current weather.

Child’s play

The arrival of Spring brings with it the joy and the innocence that is so characteristic of our most childish side. Even the most grown-up of the grown-ups needs to hug their inner child once in a while. When it comes to make-up, Rodarte and Paul & Joe took that motto to the runway, which was filled with an enchanting rainbow. It was time for color to come out and turn our face into a work of art.

Sun-kissed skin

It’s time to say goodbye to the paleness of the Winter and welcome a sun-kissed skin. And if the weather doesn’t allow for it to be a natural tan, we can always reach for the Beauty products that give us the same effect. At least, that is what Roberto Cavalli and Collina Strada did on their Spring/Summer 2022 collections.

Wet look

Drying the hair before leaving the house? That’s so last season. For Spring/Summer 2022, hairstyles are (literally) wanted wet. Those who say so are Richard Quinn, Lanvin and Balenciaga, who brought the wet hair look once again back to the spotlight. To recreate it, it’s all about betting on styling products that provide a more rigid and chunky look.
