It was the year Vogue Portugal was born, but also of a series of beauty trends that would forever signal the beginning of a new millennium.

Inspired by the revivalism of other decades, a touch of the 90s here, a dash of the eighties there and even the irreverence of the seventies to tie everything together, an amalgamation of references was created that would be forever linked to Y2K. Twenty years later, there is a retro side to this era that is so close to us and that, even if vintage, we would never refuse to revisit. And we didn't.
