Hairstyles that seem to travel through a range of decades and cultures, with makeup to match. That's what this update of the title of M. Night Shyamalan's film (based on the series of the same name), about a protagonist who can manipulate the four elements, seems to mean. The elements, here, are easier to influence in the hands of the experts: hair that is plasticine to take shapes that recall trips to the East and faces that are blank canvases for make-up reminiscent of other decades.
