When is more too much? When the Pantones explode in a thousand and one colors in the same make-up palette? When the hues are so neon that they border on radioactivity?

When is more too much? When the Pantones explode in a thousand and one colors in the same make-up palette? When the hues are so neon that they border on radioactivity? When the rules of color harmony don't apply and promiscuity sets in between greens and purples, pinks and yellows, greens and pinks and pinks and oranges and purples and oranges and blues...? When the eye shadows can't be bothered to stay within the lines of the eyelids and invade the cheekbones, or the lip pencils prefer the gradient to the total filling? When is more too much? At the risk of delivering an unpopular answer, never. Because if what is popular is to do everything in halves, let marginality rule. Photography by Ana Marti. Styling by Caterina Ospina.
