My best friend was born along with me. When everyone else invented friends with strange features and even stranger names, fruit of their imagination, I had one that was equal to me in mind and heart.

My best friend was born along with me. When everyone else invented friends with strange features and even stranger names, fruit of their imagination, I had one that was equal to me in mind and heart. A companion who mirrored my behaviors and thoughts, which ended my sentences and reflected my gestures. My best friend was also one of those imaginary friends, but she got real contours when she looked at me in the mirror, that twin on the other side of the polished glass that still accompanies me in the best and worst moments. Our greatest friendship is the one we have with us. The mirror only snitches on it. Creative direction and photography by Debora Brune. Styling by Serena Pompei.
