Winners Never Quit
High jump, triple jump, long jump… all child's play at the Olympic Games when compared to the challenges we faced when we were little.
Jumping rope required a sense of rhythm, the trampoline the courage to reach higher, the one-foot jump required balancing skills... demands that arrived long before puberty, before learning English, before one’s first kiss. Though we already knew how to dress well for recess, with tulles, volumes and girly, fun shoes.
