What's Next? Issue

The frenzy of the modern world has somehow made us excessively self-centered, excessively fast-paced, excessively lazy - are we the “society of tiredness”, as the philosopher Byung-Chul Han would say? We'd rather be passively entertained than actively amused, always dependent on a screen to pass the time.

But the passage of time will also bring about that missing ideal encounter between ourselves and the technological creations and social conditioning factors that nowadays accompany us almost suffocatingly. In this process of searching for a compromise between leisure and effort, the following pages reflect that metaphorical point of balance that should always be the future goal.
