The Big Book of Trends

What's trending for your home in September 2024.

The Eras Tour

A walk through different decades make up for an environment that could not be more contemporary: be it inherited pieces, antiques, vintage items or other second hand relics, this miscellaneous journey through past times puts any room in a chronology that has no expiration date.

Princess Peach

Not salmon, not coral, it’s the color of the year in 2024: the peach hue takes over interior design in any hierarchy. From details in decor to bigger items as furniture, or even in full mode domination, by reigning over entire spaces, the tone brings calm and elegance to any environment.

La vie en rouge

Only discouraged when talking about red flags. Otherwise, rooms, whatever the inspiration or style, can benefit from a touch of red. One of the stronger trends of 2024, it promises to go beyond this year’s season to assert itself as a decoration essential. Maybe it can spur some second thoughts because of its strong presence and the way it can rule over a space, but red multiplies in hues to show and prove its versatility.

Lights, camera, action

It’s a mistake to dim the importance of lighting: it can be the difference between warmth and cold, welcoming or distant. This season, choosing the perfect light is also an exercise in design when searching for the perfect lamp and vintage seems to be the way to go. Retro is definitely having a moment in fashion and interior decor is no exception. Be it an antique or simply inspired by yesteryears or a relaunch, it’s the perfect solution for those who’d rather have several lighting corners throughout the house instead of one overpowering ceiling lightbulb.

Mr. Brown

Brownish hues, when tagging along the seventies aesthetic, become masters of a space in a trend that’s gained leverage in the interior design world. From futuristic lines to classical options, they allow for a more warm and intimate environments, even if you’d rather have them in details here and there instead of taking over a full room (even though you can). Sophisticated and discreet, brown is the new black, this autumn-winter.
