The Big Book of Trends
The naked truth is that we put on our best look even before we think about which pieces are going to cover us.
The naked truth is that, before cotton or silk or wool, we have the noblest raw material there is. The naked truth is that, before any fabric or texture, we have a skin that we love and care for - or try to or should care for - and that serves as a canvas for any trend that may emerge. And one of those trends is a kind of showcase for the self-love we have for our silhouette. The transparencies arrive for the cold season with a romantic delicacy, but also with the feminine empowerment of showing off the figure without subterfuge. More or less revealing, depending on the woman's wishes and the temperatures and event she's attending, this trend comes in a multitude of translucent options in the form of mousseline, tulle or lace. Then it's up to the wearer's taste: over another opaque garment or over bare skin, nude tones or the eternal black or white are preferred, with a few touches of colour (but always without undermining its demure side).
