The Big Book of Trends
A wink to Priscilla Presley in the days when she walked beside Elvis, but above all, a nod to the 60s and their more vibrant side.
In the eclectic prints, the exuberant silhouettes, the play of volumes, the opposing lengths (from the longest to the impossibly short minis) and the multiplicity of textures (hello, the fluidity of chiffon; ça va, sparkling glitter; olá, the softness of faux fur), the offer that the swinging sixties continue to make available in the 20s of the 21st century remains as current as the icons that marked that era. The years go by, but the revolutionary attitude that characterised a young, wild and free era is no more than fashion, as can be seen in Maria Pombo's power looks on the following pages.
