In an issue dedicated to traveling, it would be impossible not to mention one of the most iconic hotels in the Algarve, the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura. Located in an absolutely privileged location, it has undergone an almost total renovation, being prepared to receive its guests in an even more glamorous and sophisticated environment.

The Tivoli Marina Vilamoura was already considered a true summer paradise, but this year it has reinforced its status as one of the unmissable spots in the Algarve: after 36 years of existence, the hotel is beginning a new chapter in its history with an extensive renovation. There are new elements to discover, from the lobby to the rooms and restaurants, not forgetting, of course, the pool and gardens. The final result of this work, designed by Azora (the company that owns the hotel) together with the architecture firm Talasur Group, is a true Olympus in the heart of the Algarve.
The new decoration emphasizes the leisure and well-being concept Tivoli has accustomed us to, harmonizing the interior and exterior spaces of the hotel. Throughout the 9 floors and 383 rooms (including 21 suites), the inspiration in the beaches and the Algarvian sea is evident, combining the elegance of the resort with a contemporary design, influenced by nautical motifs. The soft tones and natural materials in beige tones are a clear allusion to beach sand, while the striped fabrics are reminiscent of boat sails, thus creating a fusion between the interior and exterior of the rooms - especially considering the privileged sea view, one of the hotel's highlights. The family rooms, with 49m2 , are a stage for elegance and exclusivity: the palette of soft tones is combined with wood and textures in sand color with rattan finishing, creating a comfort that extends to the deck outside. Also worthy of note are the junior suites, where the whole waking experience is elevated to the maximum with king beds and a wide view of the sea.
The hotel lobby has gained a new life and a more human scale, not only in proportions but also in the choice of materials - all natural, noble and minimalist. Wood and several fabrics and textures stand out, filled with shades ranging from white to nautical blues, sometimes lighter, sometimes deeper, allusive to the sky and the sea. In the center, there is a large tropical garden, covered with plants, again reinforcing the interchange between spaces, using green tones and plays of light. The Glee Boutique Café is influenced by this serenity and adopts the same list of tones, letting the colorful French pastries shine, among delicate chocolates and macaroons in pastel colors. The Voyage restaurant, where breakfast is served, has also been given a brighter, fresher and more inspiring look, so that the day can start with an invigorating energy. Following the same rationale as the rooms and lobby, the tones are inspired by the surrounding environment but, this time, recreating a sophisticated "French Riviera" style, using vertical stripes, wooden chairs and plaited bamboo. In addition, we find geometric and floral details in the decoration, in a tribute to the Moorish influence so characteristic of southern Portugal. A good hotel requires an excellent bar, and The Argo Cocktail Bar comes to meet the expectations, combining the usual quality to the new decor, now even more glamorous. The wavy lines and rich tones that contrast with satin and textured surfaces lead us to the jewel in the crown: the splendid balcony of The Argo, where the limits of the hotel merge with the horizon, between the brightness and freshness of the sea. Afterwards, this balcony leads us to another essential point of the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, Pepper's Steakhouse restaurant, where the gastronomic offer includes premium cuts of meat.
In a veritable summer oasis like this, the outdoor area could not be forgotten. The hotel gardens have been renovated, and the pool is the highlight: sky blue in color and with an area that allows you to relax on loungers in the water. Among the renovations, sustainability was not forgotten, so water consumption was significantly reduced, promoting environmental and energy efficiency. Last but certainly not least, a vacation truly focused on relaxation requires, of course, a spa to match. The Tivoli Spa includes beauty services and regenerative treatments in a welcoming environment provided by the winter garden. Facial and body treatments combine aesthetic medicine techniques with exclusive Tivoli therapies, using local, organic ingredients, as well as Natura Bissé products. Adding to the experience is the sauna, Turkish bath and indoor and vitality pool, spaces totally dedicated to deep rejuvenation and mind and body connection - a set of experiences that promise to make a stay at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura truly memorable.
