Portugal With Love
And Fernando Pessoa in the soul.
The green, red and golden yellow of the armillary sphere take on feminine silhouettes in these pages that are a tribute not only to the tones of the flag, but also to the blue sea that bathes the Portuguese coast. In an ode to Portugal, it is not only in the tones that the territory manifests itself, but also in the words that cannot be read, but that seem audible on every inch of skin. “I like to speak”, the poet would say, as in his work Livro do Desassossego. “I’ll say it better: I like to talk. For me, words are touchable bodies, visible mermaids, embodied sensualities.”
