The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and perhaps that is why the natural world, which serves as our origin and welcomes us, influences our “good” mood in such a positive way.

Perhaps this is why escaping to the most inhospitable landscapes is often a kind of liberation mixed with a feeling of belonging. As if that were our usual place, as if our body was part of it, as if these wild settings were our home, like a good son returning to his mother's arms. Maybe that's why the term Mother is so well applied to Earth and Nature, because it's from this cradle that we inherit our traits, even if we mask them in urban looks throughout our lives. The truth is that, presented with the opportunity to camouflage the city with the countryside and the beach, we will always drink to the chameleon within us to blend into the landscape, in a biomimicry that is as organic to us as our earthly roots.
