The Memories Issue

We may have remnants of the kitsch of the past, but we live in the geometry of the future.

We may have the residual vibrancy of the chromatic palette of yesteryear, but we advocate the monochrome of tomorrow. We can remember the fluidity of ancient draperies, but we think about the architectural structure of the new centuries. We may retain reminiscences of organic and raw fabrics from more primitive times, but we have accumulated the innovation of new and avant-garde materials. We can randomly access historical data in our ROM, but it is in RAM that we store the ever-evolving wardrobe that is already (re)seen in the pages yet to be written.

Translated from the original published in The Memories Issue, from April 2024. Full stories and credits are in the print version.
