Make-up can be one of the most powerful forms of expression. We are all unique and irreplaceable, and make-up helps to emphasize, even better, a little of that particularity that makes us so different - and special. Whether it's a simple no-make-up make-up for everyday life or something more elaborate, ideal for a party or a night out, the options are endless: eyeshadows, highlighters, lipsticks, mascaras, pencils...  Where to start? Wherever we feel like, of course, but the help of a specialist always comes in handy. We took advantage of the start of spring to ask Adrián Rux, make-up artist and digital brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, five key questions. Here's what he told us…

What are the main make-up trends for this spring/summer? We're opting for a very fresh skin trend, we've forgotten a little about the over-covered, matte style of recent years. It's more of a K-Beauty look. Skin that breathes and looks luminous and moisturized, like the effect left by L'Oréal Paris' ACCORD PARFAIT SERUM foundation. We'll also see subtle freckles that we can easily draw on with an eyebrow pencil, such as BROW ARTIST SKINNY DEFINER, and more glowy finishes. In addition to the freckles, we can highlight the pink blush with a luminous finish, such as LE BLUSH, which can be applied to the top of the cheekbones to create an upward effect. Let's say it's a hybrid between blush and highlighter, very easy to blend.

Which L'Oréal Paris products would you highlight to achieve the best make-up looks? The products always have a different finish or coverage, so they can be adapted to all types of public, but if I had to choose, I would highlight the ACCORD PARFAIT SERUM foundation, the ACCORD PARFAIT concealers and the PANORAMA mascara.

The PANORAMA mascara is precisely one of this year's big launches - what makes it so revolutionary? The applicator. As it's tapered, it allows you to work both the shorter lashes, in the teardrop area, and the longer lashes, at the end, which are the ones that lengthen the eye. But the most important thing is that the brush, because it has very fine bristles of different sizes, allows us to apply the product at the root and then separate them without sticking or leaving clumps.

If you could only have five make-up products, what would they be and why? A multi-purpose concealer, like MORE THAN CONCEALER, which can be used as a small concealer to erase imperfections without weighing the skin down (it's very easy to apply), or mixed with a cream if you want to reduce coverage. A translucent powder to carefully seal shiny areas or areas where concealer has been applied. A long-lasting matte red lipstick, which can be used as a lipstick, but also as a blush or to enhance lip color with a few simple finger swipes. A natural highlighter, such as GLOW CHERIE, to give a fresh, more dimensional look that reflects the light. A mascara to enhance and define the lashes and give intensity to the look.

What's the best make-up trick you can share with us? Work the skin well, make-up can come in an infinite number of shapes and colors, but what really makes make-up perfect is beautiful, natural-looking skin.
