The Memories Issue

Dear diaries may have gone from paper and pen to notes on a smartphone, but even if habits transform from old school to new era, the memories that are imprinted on them, whether in ink or in bits and bytes, remain with us with the same innocent effervescence of adolescence.

Maybe the lock and key has been lost, but collecting printed photos and making a collage of memories never seems to go out of fashion among younger age groups. There is a certain nostalgia that is not lost in time, nor in the moment, in creating memories in manual photoshop that is the scrapbook, this visual diary that testifies to a well-spent adolescence. Photography by Jakov Baricic. Styling by Manda Javorina.

Translated from the original published in The Memories Issue, from April 2024. Full stories and credits are in the print version.
