Prima ballerina

Only those who have spent the last few months under a rock don't know that the most trending trend of all trends (forgive the redundancy) goes by the name of balletcore. Inspired, as the name implies, by the world and the aesthetics of ballet, it takes everything from fabrics (tulle, chiffon), accessories (bows, tutus), and accessories (pointe shoes, bodysuits) to transform an ordinary closet into that of a prima ballerina. Did we just manage to talk about balletcore without mentioning the famous Miu Miu ballerinas? Oops...

I’m not that innocent

The more puritanical ones better watch out, because the coming months bring lace, lots of lace, and it's not exactly the kind we used to see on the naperons at our grandmothers' houses. From the exuberant colors (did someone say neon?) to the unusual details (thanks to laser cuts, which allow for breathtaking corsets), the lace we will be wearing is anything but innocent - and it jumps from night to day, because this idea of wearing certain pieces only after the sun goes down was left behind in 2008.

Fifty shades of white

For a long time, it was believed that wearing total white in winter was a sacrilege, a faux-pas, a sin almost as serious as eating oranges at night. Then, almost as if by magic, someone managed to make the expression “all white” become one of the most sought-after by all trendsetters, who started studying the looks of Jackie O and Bianca Jagger, women with high doses of cool and who were clearly never afraid to get dirty with red wine stains.
