English Version | [Not so] Guilty Pleasures

Guilt and pleasure seem to enjoy a toxic love affair. Consciously or not, we let the personal and collective imagination deem the search for hedonistic moments as something that entails a certain amount of selfishness. We tend to associate abundance with an extravagance that almost always comes with an apology. Why ask for forgiveness for something we love , bearing no collateral damage? If excess makes us overflow with pleasure without stepping on the freedom of others, let guilt, excuses and regrets be discarded, in the true spirit of hedonism. And let life be enjoyed to the fullest in a carpe diem that knows not age groups or the meaning of meager, humble or simple. Beauty has no age. Style has no age. Sumptuousness has no age.
