It won't be Phileas Fogg leading this journey, but it might as well be, because the images that follow seem to be taken from Jules Verne's 1872 novel, Around the World in 80 Days.

An amalgamation of civilizations united by art and by different decades of the past mix like a cultural melting pot in this photographic approach with geographical and temporal references that leave room for interpretation, or rather, imagination. Photos with a vintage spirit and surrealist references that, in an abstract way, represent the idea of traveling perfectly. Frames that are a manifesto of the way human expression is built and built with what people brought whenever they crossed paths with each other. Paintings that have no date or location, but which contain all times and all destinations. Like a colorful itinerary that can be drawn with just a turn of the page. Creative direction and photography by Charlotte Ellis. Styling by Celia Arias.

Translated from the original on our The Voyage Issue, from June 2023.Full credits and stories on the print version.
