Sweet romance

It had been threatening to become one of the hottest pieces on the catwalks since late 2020 (it was one of the stars of Alberta Ferretti's spring/summer 2021 collection), but the pandemic made it go unnoticed, for obvious reasons. With the end of the health concerns, the whole world wanted to celebrate, and that extended to clothing, where every detail counts. Now, the bralette is back as a closet must-have, and can be worn both on the beach (Jacquemus, LaQuan Smith, Nensi Dojaka) and in the city (Tom Ford, David Koma, Miu Miu).

Isn’t it iconic?

There are bags and there are bags. The former satisfy a need (carrying everyday objects, for instance), the latter change our lives. The former fulfill their function and are forgotten in a drawer, where they eventually lose their color and shape, the latter are timeless. Known worldwide as “it bags” (although “iconic it bags” would make more sense), they are pieces of desire that pass from generation to generation.

The higher the split…

... the closer to heaven. We are well aware that the original saying contains the word “hair” instead of “split.” However, we have decided to adapt Dolly Parton's maxim to present one of the most relevant trends of the season, which highlights one of the most powerful parts of a woman's body: the legs. Think skirts and dresses with half-meter splits, as far as the devil allows, and high doses of sensuality.
