Color therapy

In an unexpected twist on the concept of the capsule wardrobe, the fashion gods have turned the tables on us and announced that no more black, grey and beige, it's time to wear hot pink, yellow, orange, green... It's been years and years of "muted" colors, but if there's one thing the pandemic has taught us, it's that life is too short to wear boring clothes.

Flower power

To say that flowers are back is to assume that they ever left, and nothing could be further from the truth. Spring after spring, they return, victorious, to celebrate the arrival of good weather and flood our gardens — and our wardrobes — with color. This year, however, there is one species that stands out from all the others: roses, the protagonists of several fashion shows, such as Sarah Burton's farewell at McQueen.

Fringe benefits

More sophisticated than those that made Woodstock a revolutionary and unforgettable festival, less boho than those that turned Siena Miller into a style icon, fringes are back, now with a grown-up and elegant touch. They can be worn from morning to night, both on clothes and accessories, and are a kind of "extra" in a look that is as chic as it is daring.

Big suit energy

XL blazers have been "in" for at least two years now, and last autumn/winter we added the full suit, in other words, we turned oversize tailoring into a scene that makes any woman a power CEO. There's no need to buy one or two sizes up, the garments themselves are already larger, designed to look cool, comfortable and effortless.

It’s oh so quiet

It was the most repeated expression in 2023, at the risk of misrepresenting its own meaning and misleading the most distracted: quiet luxury, which refers to an ultra-discreet, refined style made up of pieces made of noble materials such as silk or cashmere, is still on the rise, emphasizing quality and exclusivity, always without outward signs of wealth, such as logos.
