Overlapping frames that reflect the duality of good and bad fortune. Blurred and shaky images to realize that this thing with bad omens is almost a matter of perspective. Faded lines that blend together just to clearly show how indistinct it is to associate signs with good and bad fortune. A black cat, the root of all evil? A pinch of salt to wash away all the sins? None of this is a witch hunt, it's rather embracing the dark side without it saying lucky or unlucky, it's embracing superstitions as a sign of good fortune and not as a sign of misfortune, it's seeing in darkness, light, and in the black-clad silhouettes the sorcery of modern times. The one that fills wardrobes with pieces that describe us without speaking. Which, in these murky times when we are continually looking for our identity, is fortunate. Photography by An Le. Styling by Konka Aykan.
