Million-Dollar Question: what do women talk about when they go to the bathroom? Many things, things that will never be revealed, because if there is something that deserves to remain a secret, it's the mystery that cements female friendships. We can, however, reveal some indiscretions: makeup is one of the topics that always comes up, especially the hottest trends of the season. 

Glossy lips

After almost two decades of hiding at the bottom of the nécessaire, lip gloss has risen from the ashes and has become one of the most demanded beauty products of the last months. It has been on almost every runway, from Fendi to Victoria Beckham or also Blumarine, one of the brands that has most embraced the Y2K aesthetic. Nostalgia? Yes, but not just that. The shine provided by a simple application of lip gloss is enough to complete the minimalist look that the post-pandemic makeup trend seeks so strongly  to achieve.

Fantastic lashes

It is not exactly groundbreaking to say that long, curved and defined lashes are one of the most desired looks for any woman - regardless of the season or the trend at the moment. There will always be more or less infallible tricks to achieve that femme fatale look (if we say "Lolita" we risk being canceled, right?), so here are some products that never fail when the goal is a fatal look, sorry, fantastic.

Whitest White

In mid-2022, TikTok was flooded with an unexpected trend: white blush. A "new" aesthetic inspired by both Japanese beauty canons and the always surprising makeup tricks of drag queens. The final effect illuminates and highlights the cheekbones - which, after all, is what you want with any blush. On the runways, the trend continued, with eyeliners and eyeshadows in the same color leading the inspirations of various brands and designers.
