That’s how we set the tone for the next Summer months. Minimalism is slowly forgotten as we move towards a bold color palette, rebel hairstyles and glow, a lot of glow.

Beach hair

We call beach hair to the hairstyle that combines the boldness of the wet look and the informality of the waves that are naturally created after a swim in the sea. In Spring/Summer 2022 collections, this style was seen in shows such as Private Policy, Rick Owens and Alexandre Vauthier. But next to the seaside it will be everywhere. 

Ray of neon

It’s the eyes that tend to embrace the first ray of neon tones that awakens our Summer makeup. That is how MSGM and Anna Sui’s Beauty looks were created in their presentations for the hot season. However, when we talk about colors, not even the sky is the limit. If there’s a time to take risks, that time is now.

Gleam and glow

Tom Ford, Isabel Marant and Ester Manas opt for clean faces in their Spring/Summer 2022 shows. Makeup seemed almost inexistent, however, the flow was strategically placed in key features of the face, which enabled the final result to be everything but boring. On the lips, skin or eyes, this is the season to wear and tear our highlighters.
